Got my 3 NOAs today, and my husband got his NOA for the i-130 he filed for me.

They were all dated Oct 2nd and had the Chicago address on them, but all four were sent yesterday from the Missouri center.Only one of them shows up online (I-131) , and it says that my case is transferred to Missouri (NBC ie the Missouri service center).

I didn't think they process AOS and AP applications at all in Missouri, unless there is a significant backlog, but apparently they transfer cases here.

If I do have to have an interview, it works much better for me if they do everything in St. Louis or in Lee's Summit, since I live 15 minutes away from the USCIS office in St. Louis. Plus I get things the same day they mail them, which decreases the need for tinfoil hats.

Hoping for quick NOAs and no RFEs for all of us.

Hey Evilmonkee... I see it's moving speedily for you!!! I hope you eventually get the interview in Lee's County or St. Louis

However do they usually handle most AOS in Chicago or do the applications get transfered almost immediately to the local Office?

Me too.. it's been a week now and still haven't receive any notice from the USCIS.. but what I've observed is some received their NOA's in 10-13 days after they sent their applications.. Hopefully our NOA's will be arriving soon.. Hopefully before the week will end.. :)
