thank God and thank you VJ members (Oct Filers) for your prayers.. I got my Biometrics Appointment, that will be on December 3, 2009 at 3pm =) I'm so happy.. and now I'll be waiting for the notice of my change of address.. we'll be moving to our new home tomorrow!

The notice date on my letter was 11/6 and they sent the mail just last 11/18.. Just wondering why it took so long..

To CAAO, Ranchomesa, Abhijith, and DallasJeeper.. I'll be praying for you guys.. I really hope you'll receive it soon..

It's been awhile since I was here. I've been very busy with school and conferences, and I tried to avoid checking immigration forums and CRIS in order to preserve my sanity.

I got my biometrics done on 11/02 at 8am, and it was a very painless experience. I was in and out in 5 minutes, and the lady who took my fingerprints was very pleasant and polite. We even made small talk about local coffee places while she was taking my prints.

If I were a morning person who didn't hate waking up at 8am, I'd say the biometrics was a pleasant experience.

For some reason, it took three weeks to get another copy of my husband's IRS transcripts, so I sent the RFE response on 11/12 (Thursday). USPS delivered it the next day, and I got an e-mail confirmation from CRIS that it was received on Monday.

My AP was also approved on Monday, even though my status was not updated until 10 pm last night (I got the letter the same day they updated my status online).

Now I'm debating if I want to take a quick trip to visit my parents for the holidays, or if I should stay put until I have any news about an interview or a transfer.

I have never had any overstays, so that's not an issue, but I am not sure if I want to spend almost 3k on a ticket if I can only stay 5 or 6 days.

I don't see any update since I've sent back RFE(Nov 16) so I'm getting stressed. I'm heading to ST.LOUIS for my biometrics on monday, so hope to see some update on my case during next week. Have a great weekend~

Feb 6 10: Got my Greencard!

OCT 11 : Filed I-751

NOV 11 : Received I-797 Notice of Action.(It says I-751 receipt notice...1 year extended)

NOV 11 : CHECK_$590 cashed.

DEC 11 : Done Bio.

JAN 12 : Resident card date is expired.

I called on Friday and they sent me an email updating me on the status of my case. Turns out the letter that was delivered to the wrong address and ultimately returned to USCIS was of course my Biometrics notice. Per the email, they will be rescheduling my appointment and resending that notice to me so I am hoping it gets to me this time around, and soon.
