Hello Everyone. I find it hard to read the posts and not just do statistics on everyone's timelines. I filed in Oct, recieved 3 NOA's and am just waiting for the biometrics appointment. I phoned in because my reciept number does not show up online or on the phones yet and the operator said to allow 30 days. Hope it arrives soon.

Update your timeline so that Greg can add you on the spreadsheet for October Filers.. dates on when you sent, when you received the NOA's, Notice date, etc..

We're on the same boat. I'm waiting for my bio appointment too..

I called the INS for a service request for my Biometrics Appointment.. And told me to wait for a month! Geeeez.. That sounds crazy!

What??? That is crazy, you already waited for a month and they say another month? Maybe you can call again and hope someone else answers the phone and get the different answer?

Yeah.. The lady only gave me the confirmation number for the service request! So now I really have to wait.. Hopefully it will arrive before we move to our new house..

That is crazy! I am scared to call now. I can't believe that you have to wait that long. I am still waiting on the letter that I was supposed to get in the mail. If it's any consolation, I have not yet received my biometrics letter either. I am really starting to panic. Let's continue to keep our fingers crossed.

Hi, sweetanastasia

I just sent RFE back to USCIS either, and my case has resumed now.

Please look at my timeline.

I've never got any messages or emails from USCIS before.

The first day that I got them was the day that USCIS sent me a message and email for notification that " Case process has resumed".

I was so glad and happy.

Hope you get it soon.

Hi all.

I hope everyone's having a good day. I had my first face-to-face meeting with USCIS today at my bio appointment.... and everyone at the office was lovely. Very kind and helpful. I don't expect it will be as nice for my interview but I feel lucky I live in NH.

I spoke to the lady at the desk when I went in about my RFE for I-765, that I had to re-file and hadn't received a bio appointment for that form yet. Luckily I had brought my NOA with me and she said it was fine to do bio for everything together so when I receive my appointment letter for I-765 to just ignore it. She just stamped my NOA for a receipt of biometrics. :) I couldn't have been happier! Hopefully this will make up for lost time on the EAD filing.

I hope SoCal sort their bios out soon! It must be awful waiting but we are all 100% behind you!

Touches on I-485 and I-765 this afternoon! (I don't know how to do the dancing man smilet, but I would put it here! )

It's been awhile since I was here. I've been very busy with school and conferences, and I tried to avoid checking immigration forums and CRIS in order to preserve my sanity.

I got my biometrics done on 11/02 at 8am, and it was a very painless experience. I was in and out in 5 minutes, and the lady who took my fingerprints was very pleasant and polite. We even made small talk about local coffee places while she was taking my prints.

If I were a morning person who didn't hate waking up at 8am, I'd say the biometrics was a pleasant experience.

For some reason, it took three weeks to get another copy of my husband's IRS transcripts, so I sent the RFE response on 11/12 (Thursday). USPS delivered it the next day, and I got an e-mail confirmation from CRIS that it was received on Monday.

My AP was also approved on Monday, even though my status was not updated until 10 pm last night (I got the letter the same day they updated my status online).

Now I'm debating if I want to take a quick trip to visit my parents for the holidays, or if I should stay put until I have any news about an interview or a transfer.

I have never had any overstays, so that's not an issue, but I am not sure if I want to spend almost 3k on a ticket if I can only stay 5 or 6 days.
