I mailed my complete package on September 30th, and they delivered it on October 1st. Already getting anxious because they haven't cashed our checks yet, and the waiting process has barely began.

I am pretty sure that by the end of this ordeal, I will probably wear a tinfoil hat.

Hey RELAX! :) You'll be receiving the Notice of Action first before they'll encash the check! so don't worry that much..

Checks cashed ! A very small step forward, but it shows that we're slowly moving in the right direction.

Got my 3 NOAs today, and my husband got his NOA for the i-130 he filed for me.

They were all dated Oct 2nd and had the Chicago address on them, but all four were sent yesterday from the Missouri center.Only one of them shows up online (I-131) , and it says that my case is transferred to Missouri (NBC ie the Missouri service center).

I didn't think they process AOS and AP applications at all in Missouri, unless there is a significant backlog, but apparently they transfer cases here.

If I do have to have an interview, it works much better for me if they do everything in St. Louis or in Lee's Summit, since I live 15 minutes away from the USCIS office in St. Louis. Plus I get things the same day they mail them, which decreases the need for tinfoil hats.

Hoping for quick NOAs and no RFEs for all of us.
