BTW, what visa type are you adjusting from? What is your local ASC office?

YAY we got Phil's bio letter in the mail today! Our appt is 11/24 @ 10am and since our office isn't open on Saturday we can't do a walk-in.

Congrats!!! Must be such a relief! Another step completed!

YAY we got Phil's bio letter in the mail today! Our appt is 11/24 @ 10am and since our office isn't open on Saturday we can't do a walk-in.

Congrats!!! Must be such a relief! Another step completed!

Thanks laurelmike! It must be nice to have your bio done, we are probably gonna wait for our actual appointment. Our office isn't open on Saturday which is unfortunate...but oh well! It's only 2 weeks to wait

CAAO, can you let us know: 1) Visa type you are adjusting from; 2) Local ASC office; 3) Did you include the I693 with your AOS package. Thanks and keep us posted on your progress.

We submitted the I-140, I-485, I-765 by premium service at the same time. Here is the processing time of our cases.

10/23/09 -- Mailed off Forms I-140 (EB1-B), I-485, I-131, I-765 Package @ Philadelphia (TSC)

10/30/09 -- Email notification of I-140 approval

11/03/09 -- Received NOA's for I-485 & I-765 (Biometrics Appointment for 11/24/09)

11/05/09 -- Biometrics done by walking-in (saved 20 days and hope it will speed up the whole process)

11/06/09 -- Received hard copy of I-140 Approval

Now waiting for EAD and Green cards.

I received my NOA for I-765 yesterday so unfortunately won't be one of those lucky people.

I have a bio appointment for my 485, any idea about whether I can use that for my 765 too? Maybe if I take the NOA and explain to them? Any ideas October crew?

km, everything will be OK, probably the office is a little slow. Also, if there is something wrong with the forms you would have received an RFE before your appointment letter. It seems to be the only thing they are quick at sending out. The good stuff seems to take a lot longer!

hudons, good question on the bio appt. Normally the appointment letter specifies the case numbers for both 485 and 765. But since your 765 got delayed, you'll probably get another bio appointment for the 765. If you get that notice before your first appointment, bring in both appointment letters and they can do one for both. If that makes sense.

What is I693 for? I do not remember that we have ever filled a form like that. The ASC that we used is USCIS Philadelphia, 10300 DRUMMOND RD, PA 19154.

I am eagerly waiting for the EAD so that I can start looking for a job. I do not have a work permit yet.

I-693 is the medical examination form. I filed it with my I-485 but I believe you can file it seperately when requested.

And thanks Greg, yep that makes sense. I just gotta hope it arrives soon! Or that'll be 2 trips down south.
