WAHOO!! Just checked the mailbox and we received all 4 NOAs!!

So do we use the Receipt # to track each case on USCIS?

So happy to hear you got your NOA's! =)

Just wondering if I'll be going for Biometrics in advance?! Will it really speed up the process?! Is it true?!

 Congrats Rebecca. I did sign up for the email and phone notification but I haven't gotten any alert yet (I guess it's still early)

Thanks! Yeah I guess there aren't many updates so the e-mails might be sparse heehee. I can rest assured now though, knowing they have all our documents and our case is moving along, however slowly or quickly it may be.

Hmm, it wouldn't let me edit my post so I'll just have to post another...

I have a question, on both Phil's NOA for the I-485 and the NOA for the I-765 USCIS mentions that the next step is biometrics. Does this mean he will have to go to two different biometrics appointments or do they mesh it into one? If they each require separate biometrics, can we do both on the same day if we do a walk-in (once we get our letter)?

Yes they mesh it into one. My bio letter says for I-485 and I-765.

By the way, I tried to do walk-in biometrics this morning, and  They rejected me.. So I guess I will wait for 10 days for the scheduled time. So for people who are scheduled in Wheaton, MD location, don't even bother to go there early. Very strict and this guy was talking s$%t to me too  I guess it's only 10 days, not a big difference.

Yeah I can but I've heard it can be different for everyone. Some others haven't been able to access it until after they've been approved!

It doesn't mean there's anything wrong with your case though! Hopefully it will show up soon :star:

I have a question...on my online case status updates it says that Phil's I-485 is being processed at the Nationals Benefits Center...so I guess they transferred our case? Is this only for the I-485 or for everything else too? Also, I looked on their website to try and find the processing times for I-485 at the NBC but it's not listed as a form they process...I'm confused

I was looking here: https://egov.uscis.gov/cris/processTimesDisplay.do

Just got home and checked the case status online. The good thing is that it works now and I can get some info  But, there is also bad news, they sent RFE on October 27th. Now I'm nervous and trying to think what they want. Oh well, I guess we just have to wait for the actual document to arrive and see. Hope it's not too bad and easy to fix

That's good you can check your status online! How can you tell they sent RFE? You know how they have like 6 circles and all of my applications is at Initial Review circle. besides those circles, does yours show anything else??

Hope your RFE isn't too complicated, it shouldn't!

Yes when my parents were touched a few weeks ago, they received their biometrics a few days later, dated the same day their files were touched..
