Employed - just don't make nearly enough, like most everyone else too I imagine. :)

Didn't have the option for "having wages reduced because of being furloughed"...which is my situation so I chose "wages reduced, same hours".

Employed but

All Bonuses, 401k, ESPP, Stock options, RSU have been cut off, most people look at these extra compensation as part of their overall salary package, so with the elimination of those compensation it comes down to about a 30% take home pay cut, while the base salary remain the same.

Nobody would work for the basic salary amount when the market is competitive, but right now it's the employers who are calling the shots. The mentality is that you should be happy that you still have a Job, with so many past layoff the work load is increased but the pay has not.

Gone but not Forgotten!

Timeline: 13 month long journey from filing to visa in hand

If you were lucky and got an approval and reunion with your loved one rather quickly; Please refrain from telling people who waited 6+ months just to get out of a service center to "chill out" or to "stop whining" It's insensitive, and unecessary. Once you walk a mile in their shoes you will understand and be heard.

Thanks!

The lone voter at this point who is not seeking work.

My husband does not want me to work outside of the house as he feels that it would be too much to keep up with both. The house is a lot of work.

There was no option in the second part to go with not seeking employment . . . so I selected wages stayed the same (from zero to zero).

Pff. I'm in nursing school full time. I can't work in many places because my clinical times vary from week to week. But once I get through the first semester, I'll be eligible for CNA positions.
