So my questions are as follows...

Part 8: Information About your spouse

Question G: how many times has you current spouse been married(including annulled marraiges)

he has been only been married to me so is the Answer to that question going to be 1.

Did you guys put your A-No. on all the paper work you sent? Did u guys send in a cover letter?

and the last question is Should i send in the application to the P.O Box or the other addresss... I am planning tothe paper work as fast as possible thru the USPS (postoffice)

Any help will be appreciated...

That's right, if he is in his first marriage, the answer is "1".

I put my "A" number on every piece of paperwork I sent in. This way if it gets separated from the packet they can easily find where it goes.

I did NOT include a cover letter. But you should if asking for any kind of waiver or special requests. (disability, fee waiver, interpreter, etc...)

The p.o. box is for regular mail, the street address is for express and courier. I sent certified mail with return receipt to the p.o. box and they got it just fine.

Hope this helps.

The above is not legal advice.

It is either from research or merely my opinion.

Hi Karenros,

In answer to your questions:

1) Yes, that answer is "1" for your spouse, as they have been only married once to you

2) Yes, I put my A# (in pen, along with my name, on the top right hand corner) on all of my paperwork. I also sent in a cover letter, which also included my name and my A# on it too. I put my name and A# on everything, just in case things gets lost and/or misplaced. It took awhile..but worth it....

3) I sent my application to the P.O. Box (Texas) via USPS with delivery confirmation, as that was the cheapest way to send it ($5.50 or so), and was trackable online too. It arrived there in 3 days, and I got my NOA 10 days later. (see my vj timeline for more info)

Hope this helps. Good luck on the rest of your journey too.
