The Sheriff has more influence than the ghost hunters. I know the Ghost Hunters member. Their office used to be near here. These people are more skeptics than believers. They do whatever they can to disprove things.

The dumb people includes everyone who don't study science, or mathematics and has a PH.D in one of the field. Some people who are jealous of these people always says "PH.Ds are just a title."

Let me explain the process of getting a PH.D in Science (Medical People, Engineers) or Mathematics

1. Acceptance - Undergrad GPA = 3.0+

What does that number really mean? It means you must've succeeded in learning Physics, Chemistry, Mathematics, Biology.

Physics - You must understand electromagnetics such as the Gaussian, or Laplace, etc...and mechanical motion and transfers of energy

Chemistry - ability to know the difference in chemical properties amongst different structures and bondings of different elements

Mathematics - algebra is like baby math, knowing how to use integration and series to find solutions to problems in the world such as the Laplacian formula used to determine the EMF of a sphere or cylinder. (keep in mind that cables are cylinderical in shape) Everyone take things as simple as a wire for granted, but, have no idea how the process of designing the wire works.

Biology - Understanding what the structures in cells are, its functions, how it interacts with different members of systems, etc...

Don't think lightly of PH.Ds.

2. PH.D Qualification Exam

This exam must be taken within 2 years of acceptance. You must take a written exam testing your knowledge learned while an undergraduate, and another exam your knowledge in graduate studies. This is the tough part after acceptance.

3. PH.D Dissertation

Pray that you are ready.

Now, ignorance is a real bliss for those who believe that PH.Ds are dumbasses. They make mistakes just like everyone else, however, they make less mistakes. And will correct their mistakes. They are up in high power positions because they do know alot more.

There's a peer review by skeptics? How these people never take well-known debunkers with them and turn them into believers? The answer is simple, people want to believe in the hereafter and everyone likes a ghost story. The difference is when you peddle pseudo-science to the masses for entertainment instead of the high scruntiny of a verifiable methodology capable of being recreated for serious research.

Here's a little lesson from physics.

Electromagnetic fields cannot be seen. How did people know it exists? Electric Fields and Magnetic Fields can never be seen by naked eye. We can feel it. What are fields? We can see the visible spectrum right. What about the others? Can we see them? A step further, why when one charged positive particle crosses a magnetic field, the particle gets pushed into another dimension that is not part of the same plane of the charged particle and magnetic field.

Fields are something that measure spacial distortion as with Gravitational Fields within the universe. Nobody could see it. As strong as it gets, we still cannot.

How does this relate to ghosts? There are things in nature that we cannot see to know it exist. As with ghosts, I myself try not to believe they exist, but yet the feeling of wanting to know whether or not they exist pique my curiosity. There are many things we still don't know about physics, so, the realm of possibility of explaining ghosts exist or not cannot be ignored. Same with God. I don't listen or read the bible. I like to know if he exist. I question his existence as with the bible, it eliminates the question of curiosity to actually believing that God really exist. I like to find out by analysis - breakdown of science and mathematics - to see if God exists.

Oh it aint that hard...just a looot of work. Has nothing to do with intelligence (none of school really does) but it does have to do directly with how BAD you want it. (working on my advanced degrees now). There are some dumb animals with PhD's and Masters...I intend to be one of them in about a year.
