Submitting EAD online seperately better?

Is it better to file EAD online seperately from the AOS package or is it better to send them all (AOS, EAD,etc) together in the mail? Would they both take the same amount of time or would submitting the EAD online be quicker? Thanks

You cannot submit for EAD without a current/pending AOS. I'm also pretty sure you e-file for the first EAD, it's only for renewals.

I also think you'd probably have to pay another biometrics fee to do that, also. Since the EAD case won't be attached to the AOS. But I don't really know much about the e-filing process. Hopefully someone else will be able to give you more information.

In order to e-file, you have to provide proof that you have filed for AOS... the NOA.. and it's taking them 4 to 6 weeks to issue that...

For your first filing... it's better to file the I-765 concurrently with the I-485... in my opinion, efiling is a waste... it doesn't quicken anything other that increase the possibility for mishandling your case...

Where is taking 4-6 weeks to issue NOA1? I got mine about 4 days after they recieved my package at the Chicago lock box.
