I hope you and Empress of Groovy pay attention to this: What does this graph tell you? Has the population tripled to justify the tripling in homicide?

Who's talking out of their azz now? Once again I have been able to reference my point, yet you have failed to do so for that of your own.

PS The homicide offences in England & Wales also have a similar pattern. Only difference with them when compared to the US is there is no drop period.

As for the Chart posted, it must be noted that the increase would be even more dramatic had life-saving techniques not vastly improved.

Take a bullet in the gut or chest in the thirties forties or fifties in most places, you were lucky if there were ambulance service. Imagine what the murder rate would be today if we were under that same situation.
