I beg your pardon? where did you go to high school at? 50 is last among 50 states is it not?

 It must be hard as hell trying to cram all that psuedo knowledge into your head.

Look that $hit up the next time before you start slinging it around.

Nominal GDP

WV: 48 ($30,831)

http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/List_of_U.S._...a_%28nominal%29

Median household income

WV: 50 ($37,994)

http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Household_inc...e_United_States

Not the bottom - in either case.

crying wolf? there you go again MC! Off on another snipe chase!:star:

What are you talking about, liberal wacko?

Your ###### doesn't cut the mustard anymore ZQT. Everyone knows you just want to hear the gasps of horror as you post stupid after stupid for a reaction.

Like I said, you cried 'wolf' once too often ZQT.

I'm bored now. Come up with something humerous next time, please?

Refusing to use the spellchick!

I have put you on ignore. No really, I have, but you are still ruining my enjoyment of this site. .

Pvt Pike you are the super intellectual come from Britain to save us all from ourselves right? What a legend in your own mind you are.

We really need to raise our standards for admission into this country.

You'd have to start at the Mexican border.

I think there's plenty enough to do in the US - more than a few ignorant, badly educated USCs out there if all the religious/gun nuts and the (almost institutional) homophobia is anything to go by.

No he's just a dickless dickhead who was probably thrown out of the UK for his idiotic, yet well worded bullcrap. As usual, he comes in and has nothing to add to discussion, apart from his usual opinion of posters. I just love his high and mighty attitude, with his $75k publishing job and all.

Now I understand why they are so poor.

According to the Internal Revenue Service, the 400 richest American households earned a total of $US138 billion, up from $US105 billion a year earlier. That's an average of $US345 million each, on which they paid a tax rate of just 16.6 per cent.

Yeah I saw that BY's had gone off on one of his crazy rants about how ####### modern parents are, how kids these days are so 'effed up, how outrageous it is that the rich middle class whites are second class citizens in their own country, how life was much better in the picture postcard 1950s, blah-blah-blah.

I ignored it cause I've heard it all before - a dozen times or more. Its about as convincing as ever it wasn't; and about as fresh and insightful as white dogshit.

Well I am still waiting for you to illustrate otherwise. Until then, your opinion means squat.

You mean just because you say so?

The thing is you've never proven any of this, BY. Not once. Ever.

The limit of your "proof" is and always has been entirely anecdotal - like the assumption that the US was (socially) a better place in the 1950's because there weren't so many headlines about murders, rapes and the like. Not only is it not true, you have no basis for justifying it - with you it always comes down to what you heard. None of it is empirical - its all what you want to believe.

Never mind of course the issues with black segregation, workplace discrimination (where women's career opportunities were rather more limited) and McCarthyism - we should all take our cues about life in the 50's from TV Commercials.

Not at all. No reason to.

No offense but you really are stupid. Probably why I never liked you or your geeky looking son, who you claim likes pu$$y.

We need to shut down tourist visa waivers for all UK residents immediately and test them for ignorance before they are allowed to board a plane or boat to the USA! :star::devil:

Hmmm... Perhaps you missed my opinion in the idiotic, yet well worded bullcrap.

If you look back a page or two - all I did was give my opinion on the OP article. I ignored the rest, for the reasons I said.

Apparently this is somehow insufficient.

There is not one person I have spoken to over 60 who will ever say that society is as safe now, as it was back then. A time when a child could walk to school, without being beaten to death or kidnapped. Not one.

Apparently experience is no good when compared to the opinion of Pikey, the writer. Your great writing skills may fool some here but it certainly does not fool me. You conveniently use it to cover up your lack of knowledge and lack of experience in the real world.

Your opinion is as usual, three sentences at most. With the last two devoted to ridiculing others.
