Maybe someone that has already gone through the NVC process can answer the following questions:

1. Do we suppose to send 4 photos with the DS-230, Two for the DS-230 and two for the medical exam?

2. Does the NVC schedule the medical exam?

TIA :wacko:

2 for the DS230, 2 for medical.

NVC does NOT schedule the medical. You do.

NVC does not schedule the medical, but SOME consulates do, others your schedule your own... Each consulate is DEFFERENT.... For example, Italy consulate schedules your medical...

I looked up the DR information on VJ and here is what it stated regarding medical checks;

http://www.consultoriosdevisa.com/english.html (list of doctors)

Avenida Independencia 202, Santo Domingo, Dom. Rep.

Tel : (809)682-3951 Fax : (809)686-3047

E-mail : info@consultoriosdevisa.com

Dr. Jordi Brossa, Dr. Angel R. Contreras, Dr. Alfonso Brossa and Dr. Angel B. Contreras

To pick-up your results you should return to the Consultorios de Visa at 2:00 p.m. of the day BEFORE your consular section appointment. YOU MUST BRING YOUR PASSPORT IN ORDER FOR US TO GIVE YOU THE RESULTS OF YOUR EXAMINATION. In some cases Consultorios de Visa will send your results directly to the consular section.

However, you might want to go to the regional forum for DR and ask DR members who have gone through the process and see what they have done....

The beneficiary needs the Consulate letter in hands for showing them that you have an appointment or they won't allow you to get into the building where to exam takes place.

i've a question for you about DS-3032. When you emailed DS-3032 did you put an American address or your spouse's address? My husband is in India and he is the beneficiary. But, we are wondering if they send papers to him in India, if that's going to more time.

Thanks for your time
