Hi to Everybody here in VJs,

Need some advice. My fiance is self-employed.

Is it enough the I-134 and Tax transcripts to need for my interview?

We dont have any records of phone bills also because he use a phone card everytime he called me.

Can we use it as one of our proof of relationship?

Thanks for the :help::star:

Regarding the I-134, that sounds sufficient as long as he makes enough money, but you will probably also need W2s. However, don't take my word for it as I-134 requirements seem to vary depending on the consulate. I'll let someone from the Philippines verify that one for you.

Regarding the calling card question, please read this thread so we don't rehash all that has been recently said about this topic.

If the fiance is self employed, there won't be W-2s.

Tax transcripts are all that is needed to show proof of income.

tax transcripts are good enough.

as for phone calls, if he called you on your cell, you can request your cell company to print out call records for you (they may or may charge for this).

he can do the same on his end, even though the access number for the call card (and not your number) might be the only number to show (at least it will give hints that call cards were used to call overseas)

you have a lot of other options for proof of relationship: pics, letters, cards, emails, plane tickets for his visits

whatever you don't have, compensate with what you can get.

good luck and god bless!

If he is self employed there will be no w-2s. If he gets tax transcripts there is no need for them anyway. Yes it is sufficient if he makes enough money.

We used (and still use) phone cards which provide a detailed call log avaiable from their website. Without a detailed call log exactly WHAT will you use for evidence? Scratched off phone cards? No, not acceptable.

Go to "PennyBoss.Com" for a variety of low cost phone cards you can both use, can be refilled on line and give complete call details.
