Hey guys!

My interview has been issued, got letter from London today, must have been because of my cover letter I sent, what with my Wedding being all paid for etc...

Can't wait now, to get my visa approved and get the flights booked!!

2/24/09: NA02 APPROVAL... finally, after 9 MONTHS & 8 DAYS!!

5/5/09 : Interview Date APPROVED!!!!

5/8/09: visa received

From NA01 to interview: 12 LONG MONTHS!!

07/23/09: received SSN

08/17/09: Passed Driving test

08/22/09: Married on beautiful Mackinac Island, MI

08/31/09: Mailed AOS Package

10/20/09: Received AP

10/21/09 Received EAD card

12/7/09 AOS APPROVED!

12/14/09: Green Card arrived in mail. Happy Days!

It's taken 18 months from applying for K1 to receipt of Green Card! Thank God it's over until 12/7/11

Thanks!! Was sooo surprised to find a letter waiting for me at home.. !! total shock.... After looking at so many people from August still waiting I thought I was in for a bit of a wait... Having my wedding booked and my daughter waiting for me probably helped -

For anyone else reading this, I sent in a cover letter explaining my situation with my Packet 3, so thats probably expedited it somewhat...

And yes, I agree.. The American Welsh Dragon is ace eh??

I just explained that our wedding is booked and paid for, stated the date, and mentioned my daughter etc.

Pretty straightforward. I also had my medical b4 my packet 3 was even issued, which was a bit risky, but paid off and showed i was eager to get the process over with.

WOW! That is quick! I will have to have my fiance write a cover letter, see if it helps. We don't have a wedding booked but I am pregnant and found out recently that I have Placenta Previa and was put on partial bed rest (I'm 7 months pregnant). I not only would love him here now, I could use his help.
