Hi to all vj family, I just wanna ask if anyone of you got a letter from your health department? Coz i got one and need to report as soon as possible to be reevaluated for possible TB as this is a requirement of the NC TB Control Program.

Pls share your ideas about this coz I'm lil bit worried now.

08/10/09 ------- Sent docs for I-693 to Dr. Arnold

08/17/09 ------- Got the sealed envelope from Dr. Arnold

08/21/09 ------- Mailed the AOS docs in USCIS (Chicago lockbox)

08/23/09 ------- AOS docs arrived @ USCIS signed by R. Mercedo.

08/27/09 ------- NOA for AOS,EAD & AP

08/28/09 ------- USCIS cashed check for $1,010

09/23/09 ------- Case transferred to CSC

09/26/09 ------- Biometric appointment. Thanks be to GOD

09/27/09 ------- EAD card production ordered

09/28/09 ------- EAD touched

09/30/09 ------- AOS touched

09/30/09 ------- USCIS mailed my notice of approval of AP

10/23/09 ------- GREENCARD RECEIVED WITHOUT INTERVIEW IN JUST 2 MONTHS.

10/24/09 ------- Welcome to the USA letter received

10/2011 -------- REMOVE CONDITON

REMOVAL OF CONDITION:

09/19/11 -------- Sent the I-751 in Vermont office

09/21/11 -------- Vermont office received my papers.

09/29/11 -------- Got the NOA1 dated 09/22/11

10/28/11 -------- Biometrics done

06/29/12 -------- Approved

07/05/12 -------- Received the 10 years Green Card.

I wasn't sure in different states. Because of st. lukes in my country screwed up with my medical exam, I was told to see public health by immigration at my POE, I was given yellow paper.

The head nurse in the public health told me when I got there that they didn't receive my papers yet. They said usually when papers get to the local public health from CDC, then they will issue letter for re-evaluation for TB.

Anyway, I said I was told by the immigration to see public health within the week after I got in here. So, they gave me TST, and I was told if it turns to be positive, I will need to have chest x-ray and see the doctor. Then, we came back and it is negative. I was given a copy of my results.

Lifting Condition (I-751)

09/09/2011 - Sent the package to CSC

09/13/2011 - CSC received the package

09/15/2011 - CSC cashed check and NOA1 Received

09/26/2011 - Biometrics Appointment Notice Date (Sent)

10/13/2011 - Early Biometrics

10/19/2011 - Biometrics Appointment

10/26/2011 - GC expiration

11/25/2011 - Received RFE

11/28/2011 - Sent response to RFE

01/13/2012 - Ordered card production (Approved)

01/19/2012 - 10 yrs GC received

hello i am here in NY

I got that letter 1 1/2 months ago.

the letter in yellow envelop

as fas as i kow it has nothing to do with your AOS application..

you just have to go to your local health department and give them the cd of your x-ray. they will returned it to you

they will examine you again.

they will ask for another x-ray to compare with your previous x-ray.

then a doctor will talk to you

they ask me to conduct a smear test and sputum test again.

basically they just want to make sure that i dont have any active virus ( i mean the virus for tb )

even though i explained to them that i had sputum test and smear test 3 months

they just need to conduct their own test.

In NC, it is a requirement for any healthcare provider to report any TB postive (including false positive) cases to the Health Department. I believe that's the reason why and how the Health Dept contacted you about it.

I had a positive TB skin test due to the BCG vaccination that I had when I was a kid and the doctor told me to go to Health Department of report my case. I went there, they took my x-ray, talked to the RN about the available treatment if my X-ray is positive. X-ray result came back 2 days later and they gave me two letters, (1) that explained the x-ray results, which I submitted to my Civil Surgeon for I-693; and (2) that I don't need any treatment.
