Hey everyone!

I was reading the guides here but I was reading that the Affidavit of Support (K1) has to be filled by the american citizen BUT it doesnt say anything about a lawyer must sign the affidavit.

A lawyer must sign too??

Since my fiance doesnt know about this, he sent me the Affidavit just with his sign :crying:

Please someone can help me about this question.

The most recent form does not need to be notarized. So don't worry.

January 21, 2010 - Submitted AOS

January 25, 2010 - Cory received her SSN

March 9, 2010 - Received appointment for biometrics - will be on March 18

March 18, 2010 - Biometrics done

March 19, 2010 - Touches on I-485 and I-765

March 25, 2010 - Advance Parole approved..received on April 1 in the mail

March 29, 2010 - I-485 notice date, received on April 4, 2010

May 3, 2010 - EAD approved

May 5, 2010 - Date interview....approved

Hey everyone!

a lawyer ?? :blink: where did you read that ?? only your fiance needs to sign it.

If you are talking about having the form notarized, it is for previous editions not for the most recent one.

03-11-2010 Biometrics Re-taken (early walk in)

03-24-2010 EAD Approval Notice. (via e-mail)

03-26-2010 Interview Letter Received! (04-27-2010)

03-27-2010 AP Documents Received (Approval date is 03-23-2010)

04-01-2010 EAD Card Received

04-27-2010 GC APPROVED!!!

05-28-2010 GC RECEIVED!!!
