how long does it take to resume working on your case

how long does it take to resume working on your case after you send them response for your ref

i got the ref letter in mail Monday , responded tuesday and they recieved it wednesday 9:30 am

how long until they resume working on my case and how long does it take for them to update the case online

i know it might take them ages to update it online but i'm asking about normal cases

I'd give it a week or so to resume - case status might take that long too - never can tell.

in our case we received an RFE for his medical, his case has already been pending AOS for nine months. One week after they received his new medical he had his green card in his hand.

I recieved an update on my AOS case at 7:15 pm my time tonight , but nothing about my EAD , i hope they process it soon , they have been approving same dates since sep 24th , do you think it wont take long ?
