the 338 is just a different seat layout than the standard 300. I have no idea what the EUD means though.

the 300 is about 23 years old, not old for a commercial aircraft. you should have a very nice and smooth flight... err, flights :)

and although your ticket says stretch jet, it is not. The upper cabin is stretched out further than the previous versions of the aircraft, but it is not a stretched jet. Those aren't out yet. they just put that in there to impress you

well I know the 47-300 is a good aircraft. the -300 like Fuzzness said is maybe a differnt config. on seating and others. Yes the upper part is longer then the -200 and -100's.

With the 747-400 it is same airframe as the -300 but they added winglets (to help reduce horozontal vortexs) and they help improve drag and more fuel ecomony. Also on the -400 they have Fuel tanks in the back on the horozontail stabs. That is why they can go longer distance. Say if Aussie was on a 747-400 she could go to Syn to Lax without stopping for more fuel.

Both soild planes. I as a aviation maintenance tech, I am bias towards boeing planes. they are better built.

I basicly call the airbus family of planes. .Throw away planes. cause they are cost too much to fix when is time for heavy Maintenance checks. It is cheaper to buy a new plane then overhaul it.
