'sacrifice'

"The fact that we are here today to debate raising America’s debt limit is a sign of leadership failure. It is a sign that the U.S. Government can’t pay its own bills. It is a sign that we now depend on ongoing financial assistance from foreign countries to finance our Government’s reckless fiscal policies."

Senator Barack Obama
Senate Floor Speech on Public Debt

Mrs. Obama said bringing the Olympics to Chicago is especially important right now because "athletics is becoming more of a fleeting opportunity." "Funds dry up so it becomes harder for kids to engage in sports, to learn how to swim, to even ride a bike," she said. In addition, with childhood obesity on the rise, "it is so important for us to raise up the platform of fitness and competition and fair play," the first lady said.

they teach swimming and bicycle riding in school?

Swimming I can kind of understand , but biking? Biking 101??? UGH!!!

swimming ... the Y and other community associations (pools) must not be doing the job. a swim team ... yea they are there ... only don't you need to know how to swim to make the team? oh ... how many schools actually have a pool?

wonder if biking 101 starts with tricycles ... then bike with training wheels ...

Lance Armstrong is the teacher!! LOL

Truly happy!!!

New life, new adventures, and a new attitude.
