So do you fly a US flag at your home? And do you, or will you fly the flag of your fiance(e)?

My fiance does the USC flys a flag, and wants to fly a Canadian flag as well. Just wondering if anyone else is doing this.

2011 March 31 - Sent off Naturalization pkg overnight to Texas

2011 April 1 - Arrived in Texas at 10:21 am

2011 April 1 - NOA (rec'd via snail mail April 8)

2011 April 7 - Cheque cashed

2011 May 5 - Biometrics (letter rec'd via snail mail April 15)

2011 May 9 - Placed in line for interview scheduling

2011 June 13 - Rec'd yellow letter (no change in status online)

2011 June 23 - Rec'd text that my case has been scheduled for interview

2011 August 1 - Interview (rec'd via snail mail June 27) PASSED

2011 August 3 - Rec'd email that my case has been scheduled for Oath

2011 September 1 - Oath ceremony (rec'd snail mail Aug 5)

2011 September 1 - All done, yeah.

nope, my USC is not very patriotic (he's worked for far too many branches of gov't ;) ) so no flags on our house.

Last Canada Day tho I stuck some mutant flags out on our walkway. they're half Maple Leaf and half Stars n Stripes.

I have an English flag on the wall in my lounge. I also have a small Us flag in my bedroom.

I put the American flag up on the front of our house for national holidays and such. I also have a small American flag sewn on the shoulder of my work uniforms.

My wife or I do not display the flags of Belarus or Russia publicly. We do have some souvenirs of both countries on display inside of our house.

I'm a US citizen by birth and my wife is a Belarusian citizen, but was born in Russia. My mom's parents were Belarusian. My wife and I have relatives in both countries.

My VJ avatar is the seal of Belarus because we have ties to the region. It is not a political statement or a show of support for the government.

We have a small American flag and Italian flag outside :) When my fiance' arrives, maybe the Albanian flag will join them...?

Yes my SO will put both up just before he comes to help me move there.

As I have never lived in a spot and flown a flag I am thrilled to have both flying for sure.

we have a small american flag from jigga's naturalization ceremony and a jamaican one from his sister. i will ask my mom to send a bahamian flag from home. i went to a flag shop here but the colors were off. our flag has a shade of turquoise that is hard to duplicate... i've seen it as navy, royal blue, sky blue, aqua, sea green... :(

Hm, I was at the Mall of America the other day (cringe) and saw a store called "flags of the world" and got the idea of perhaps buying a Brazilian flag for my new apartment, but then thought...eh....

I don't have any American flags, but I DO have a map of the states. But I LOVE maps. I have maps of Wisconsin and a map of French textile production too, so I guess that's not saying much. Maybe I'll buy a Brazilian map instead.
