I-129F petition sent from Bulgaria to CSC Help!!

Hello, the California service center recieved my I-129F fiancee petition on April 13, 2006. I am currently in the Peace Corps and will end my service around October 27th of this year and we want everything to be ready to get on a plane at that same time. Does anyone think this will happen? What is the average for the I-129F petitions? Thanks for your help!!

At this point, there's no reliable average timeframe for approvals. Things at CSC are moving quite slowly from what I've read on VJ. You also have to take into account the time the consulate or embassy in Bulgaria takes to schedule interviews when the petition's been approved back in the U.S.

Since you filed your petition on April 13, you'll probably get an IMBRA RFE. Check the IMBRA forum for more info.

Also, did you get any more updates on your case? Do you have a case number so you can check the status online?

Well I got the email saying they received my IMBRA RFE on July 12th and then i was touched on July 13th. So since they got my rfe on july 12th and i got the email everyone is getting, can i go by that for a estimate?
