This is the time of year when deer are having their fawns. Does have to leave their young babes alone in tall grasses around the perimeters of fields and meadows while they go get enough food to produce milk for their young ones becasue the babies just can't travel too far being so small. It's incredible, the fawns just sort of freeze where their Mama sets them and they don't move, they just wait for their mother to come back to get them.

But...this is also the time of year when my hubby and most other farmers around here make the first cutting of the hay. Thankfully, everyone is aware of the fawns and do the "fawn walk" around the fields before they hop on the hay-bine. Every once in awhile they will come across a fawn lying in there and they simply just pick it up and move it out of harm's way not too far from where they were set so that Mom can find them. My big 250 lb. softie of a hubby is deeply touched by fawns, he gets all gooey eyed over them haha. I can't blame him they are adorable.

Here is a pic he took of one that he found just a few days ago. (L)

Going through our thousands of photos to find some of my fav's, I ran across this. It is by no means an artistic photo, but it has so much meaning. So many of us have been fortunate enough to see our country through anothers eyes, and photos are often the best memories we can have of those days when everything was new, the country and the start of a relationship. To have someone else open your eyes and mind up to what you have always taken for granted is a fantastic thing. (not that I ever take Krispy kremes for granted lol)

Tim took this one morning bright and early, it was the first time he got to have a Krispy Kreme donut. We were sitting at this table with these warm fresh donuts, a cup of coffee and I remember him just smiling and making these cute little noises, and then watched him go for 2nds and 3rds and a dozen to go. I thought it was the silliest thing to take this picture. Upon seeing it again it reminded me of that morning, and afterwards we went to a bridal shop and looked around, then headed off to see 50 first dates together. It was his first time in America and over two years ago, and still a silly photo can bring up so many memories! Can't wipe the smile off my face now!

But when we turn to the Hebrew literature, we do not find such jokes about the donkey. Rather the animal is known for its strength and its loyalty to its master (Genesis 49:14; Numbers 22:30).

This was a little "malfunction" in our wedding pictures :P . I really have no idea why I'm sticking my tongue out (maybe at my sis lol who knows). Whatever happened the picture was obviously taken at the wrong time. :P What makes it worse Vipul has this look on his face like, "yeah, that's my wife." Anyways it's one of our favorite wedding pictures
