I believe that only the applicants between March 1st (when the new IMBRA law was passed) to May 23rd (which was when USCIS came out with a new form for the I-129F) will be receiving RFE's (give or take a few days). The forms for the I-129F were revised after May 23rd to include questions about the marriage brokers law and criminal background so hopefully you submitted that new application. I think that after this whole mess is cleaned up there will be a big jump in processing dates and hopefully you won't have to wait the 4 or 5 months people have been waiting and your petition is actually processed in the anticipated time of 2-3 months. Good luck!!

Actually, anyone whose I-129F received dates are after March 5 and if they used the old I-129F (which does not ask anything about the petitioner's criminal history), they will receive the RFE. However, the new I-129F form does ask those IMBRA questions, so whoever submitted the new I-129F, they won't get a RFE regarding IMBRA.

I-130 Timeline with USCIS:

It took 92 days for I-130 to get approved from the filing date

NVC Process of I-130:

It took 78 days to complete the NVC process

Interview Process at The U.S. Embassy

Interview took 223 days from the I-130 filing date. Immigrant Visa was issued right after the interview
