birth certificate - translation - certified copy?

Hey guys!

I was born in Poland, but grew up in Germany. I have the German nationality but of course a Polish birth certificate.

I know that I have to translate my birth certificate by a competent translator into German or Englisch. What do I do after this? It is required to bring a certified copy to the interview, which can be done by solicitor. Do I have to certify the translated copy by a solicitor or is the translation by a competent translater enough?
