What to bring to Green Card Interview???

Hello everyone!

I received a letter with my interview date - October 26. (I was on K-1 visa before we got married)

They included a checklist of the documents I need to bring with me.

It looks like most of the papers they mention are submitted already.

So should I bring everything again? Or there is a specific list of papers that I have to bring to the interview?

I did not get any RFE so far. So I think my package included everything they needed.

And I have some worries about me working in the US while on F-1 visa without a work permit 2 years ago.

Does anybody know how should I respond if they ask me why I worked not having an authorization? I noted in all the forms submitted before that I worked then, because I worked on check. May it be an obstacle for me? I am so worried now.

Some people say I should say that my sponsor could not support me because of financial problems, so I still had to pay for school, and that's why I started working....

Geez! I am freaking out!

Adjustment of status for an immediate family member of a USC cannot be denied because of working without authorization.

Don't freak out. They won't even bother to ask you as it would not make any difference.

Oh! Really? That sounds good!

I also have a few, probably stupid, but confusing me, questions. :bonk: Notice of Actions that states my interview date has a checklist of what should I bring to with me.

1) There is "ALL DOCUMENTATION ESTABLISHING YOUR ELIGIBILITY FOR LAWFUL PERMANENT RESIDENT STATUS" What does it mean? :pop:

2) And does copy of our marriage certificate has to be certified?

3) And what does "original and copy of each supporting document that you submitted with your application" mean? I thought I sent them everything they asked, what else do they need? :protest:

:ranting:

Sorry for to many emotion pics, but they are so cute!
