Phew, I am so glad that I found this site..........

Anyways, I met my fiance' on the net around 2 years ago (I am in Australia and he is in the US) and in April of this year I took the biggest step of my life and flew over to be with him.........now we are in the process of starting all the paper work and what not so I can be over there with him. (I can't wait) and reading some of your guys experiences have helped me out!

October 9th-Recieved biometrics app letter

November 5th-Recieved RFE

November 22nd-Sent evidence

welcome to VJ sweetie :) good luck on the journey it will be long. I too met DH online, came to visit etc etc. took about 8 months from the time papers filed for me to get to the US so be patient :)

Here are a couple of pages you should take a look at. Australian spouses have a very short turnaround by filing directly in Australia---read up before you make your final plans & see if it would work for you.

heheh.. hope it is a good option for you. Be sure to check the info with the Consulate first--the procedure has just changed this month, so don't let older experiences confuse you. Sydney has very good instructions on their website.
