Me and my fiancé decided to have a very small wedding with just the 2 of us. Because of all the costs of the k-1 visa process and my fiance losing his job we don't have enough money for a big wedding. (We want to do a ceremony in like 2 years with a dress, rings, friends, family etc.)

I know we have to get a marriage license. but I'm not sure what comes after that? Can we just go somewhere to sign papers? Anyone know where to do this in Connecticut Naugatuck? Is there a place where we can go for more information?

Thanks in advance

Love is patient and kind;

it is not jealous or conceited or proud;

love is not ill-mannered or selfish or irritable;

love does not keep a record of wrongs;

love is not happy with evil, but is happy with the truth.

Love never gives up; and its faith, hope, and patience never fail.

Love is eternal.

You might want to call the town clerk and ask if there's any sort of town hall wedding possibility but I wasn't able to find anything about it online. Here's their info: http://www.naugatuck-ct.gov/Town_clerk.htm
