Appointments are done daily, but APPOINTMENT SETTING is not...

This is kinda hard to figure out, as the ONLY metric to track is WHEN a petitioner learned that the Appointment was set (usually by calling DOS and asking for case status) - and not so many ppl report on that one time tick.

My best guess is the appointments are set 2 to 3 times each month. Appointment setting is a seperate thing, I have to guess it's a batch process, do-able on a 1 to 2 day 'run'. Sure, totally at the whim of the GUZ IV staff...

That's my 2 cents, all opinion. Use at your own risk, do not take as gospel.

I looked at this grouping (one to two weeks apart) and the last interview date that was scheduled was for individuals that had their P3# packet accepted in the end of August.... Their interview dates have been scheduled for Oct 14th. As far as I can see on this web-page their have been no other dates schedule in the month of Oct for Guanggzhou China.... If they only schedule interviews once or twice a month then I think they need to state this some where.!!! Hearing "Nothing" is like torture..!!!

Isn't consulate closed down this week due to the National Day Holiday which should say National Week?

Your Right, Oct 1st is National Day... which means the embassy will be closed for three days (probably)..... With all our technology, their has to be a better way to make this process work faster... I guess, primitive thinking and the government go hand in hand.

interviews are scheduled twice a month, at beginning of the month and at the end of the month, this was told to me by NVC.

I wondering how the NVC can provide information about what is going on in the Guangzhou Embassy? The Guangzhou Embassy seems to do what ever it wants, when ever it wants. Did you just call the NVC and ask them this question or who provided you with that information? I am going craze trying to workout how and when every thing works..!!

Okay, but the thing is.... I started the process in March 2009 .... So I'll take your 90+ and 102+ to it =192 days and counting..... (It's getting painful)

I know how you feel.

I've been waiting years to be with my fiance due to waiting on his eligibility for naturalization.

So I know what it's like to wait a long time.

I hope you're able to get your interview soon.
