in a day i noticed vsc approves around 7-12 noa2's..and at csc 3 is the most...and when u look at Igor's list, shows there they didnt approve anything on sept 25 and just 1 case each for sept. 24 and 28...what could be the reason of their delay/ slow processing...??

So what about some people get approved ahead of others? Sme petitions have problems or delays, we do not hold back others for this. If an adjudicator has problems, he puts that one aside or sends an RFE and goes on to the next. The next one may be clean and gets approved right away, in just a few minutes, they adjudicate 15-20 petitions a day per person, and the ones with problems may wait weeks for the petitioner to respond to the RFE, or maybe it is a name check they are waiting for. Petitions are assigned as they arrive, when we are working on those petitions, but they do not go out the door in the same order they came in. Well, you should have been around in February. CSC did some in 30 days or less, and was 2 or more months ahead of VSC. The service centers flip flop and things go in cycles. It's a bit of a "luck of the draw" sort of thing. Also, don't be discouraged by the actual numbers of approvals. VSC simply gets more applications, so naturally they do more approvals.

I know it's hard during this part because you just don't have any idea about when it will come through, but there's really no pattern (malicious or otherwise) here. They do go roughly in order.

One thing I want to add to what Heather said (and what she DID say I completely agree with) is that, for the most part, the VJ timeline estimate is pretty accurate. The OPs timeline shows theirs should be done anytime now...which could still happen! Take this time to get all the things ready for the next step, and focus on what you CAN do! If you have all of that done, maybe start on AOS haha. Also, be comforted to know that for the most part, the rest of the process (post-NOA2) goes SO much faster!

Yep, in February/March it was the complete opposite. You'll see that its a vicious cycle between who's faster.

Also, after 5 months I learned to stop asking myself and others why some get approved right away and others have to wait, why one center is faster than the other, etc. About a week after I stopped asking I got my NOA2...

That touch could be your NOA2. I think they are not updating their online systems. I got a touch after my case resumed on 9/23/09 so I am also waiting as well. Maybe their helping VSC catch up with their petitions.
