Hi guys.

I just need to ask if a faxed copies of the;

* I-864 signed page

* I-864A signed page (for our co-sponsor)

* Original Employment Letter

* Most recent tax return (all forms)

* Copy of PAY STUBS for current year

* Last 3 years Tax transcripts, W-2s

are acceptable to present on the interview day? I think faxing rather than sending it through a courier is much cheaper.

Has anyone brought some faxed copies? what do you think? :)

Thanks!

We scanned and emailed alot of documents to each other - but - the embassy probably wants an original signature on the I-864 - that is an important document - for us - we did an I-130 so the signed copy went to the NVC who then forwarded it on to the embassy. I believe that they will want an original signature - hopefully somebody can confirm this.

Scanned copy is better I guess. At least you have e-copy of the documents, and you can even print for back-up.

As you are CR-1/IR-1 {same as us} then you've already submitted originals to NVC, correct?

I scanned every packet of documents submitted to USCIS and NVC and converted them to PDFs which I e-mailed to Anna. She has printed them and will carry them with her into the interview just in case they have misplaced something.

thank you for the feedbacks.

@bob 4 ana- I think converting them to PDF would be the best choice. Thanks.

I'll tell my hubby about it.
