Hello everybody my name is Brad. I live in Kentucky and my fiance, Elaheh, lives in Canada. We are both very excited about the information we have found here. I hope we can meet some of you guys and we can all help each other get to where we want to go. I've already learned so much. Anyday now I will have all of the paperwork together and send it off! If anybody has seen a good checklist to make for yourself on what exactly all of the enclosed documents need to be when sending your I-129f please direct me in the right place. Thanks guys and hope to hear from a lot of you!

Brad & Ellie

Also if anybody else is about to start this journey as well I think it would be nice if we could all keep in touch and let each other know how our progress is going. I will be sending mine anytime within the next two weeks. Send me a message if you would like to start this thing together! : )

I never would have thought so many people were going through this same process! Ellie and I talk about that from time to time where it seems like no one has a clue what we are going through and then I come here and see all of you guys! I would love to have a checklist of what all needs to be in the package if you wouldn't mind. Thank you so much! I'm off of work tomorrow and am going to try and get a lot done.

Is there any people who is currently about to start their process or have recently done so and would like to stay in contact with each other about how things are going? I would love to help as much as I would like help myself. Plus it'd be nice to make a friend or two that are going through the same kind of thing. With me I met my fiance through the internet like I'm guessing some of you have done yourself. I am from Kentucky and she is from Iran but now living in Canada with a permanent residency card. It was the first time in my life that I met someone who really seemed interested in me for me. I loved everything there was about her. It didn't take long before we fell in love. I've been in Toronto twice and we spend as much time everyday when we aren't together talking on a service we use called CamFrog. We love our frog!

The unfortunate thing is she lives with her mother and twin brother. Her mother treats her horribly. So does her brother. Now that they know what is going on between us her brother threatens her, her mother threatens her, and now her father has flown from Iran to come and "discipline". I've tried to do all that I can but without a lot of money I can't fly to her everytime she needs me. So we have decided to keep this a secret. We have such a great thing like I'm sure so many of you have. It's just crazy that her own mother and father can't be happy for her. Guys her father has threatened to kick her in the streets if she didn't change her mind. She then tried to get a job so she could move out but they refused to let her. Then they told her that if she went to school they would fly her here for christmas. So she started school and this time her father said if she didn't quit with what she was doing with me he'd kill her!!! This is definitely one of the best and hardest things to deal with I've ever been apart of. I'm so glad we are getting married. I just hate what she has to go through.

Guys I love this girl with all of my heart and I am glad that I found VJ. I love the fact that there are so many other people in the US who have taken the time to find someone great and they are willing to fight to be together whether its fighting paperwork or fighting families like in my case. I also know how much we will all benefit if we stay connected and answer as many questions as we can for each other. I hope so much that I hear from some of you. I would love to trade email addresses and keep each other informed of our progress and give tips if we have them. I hope to hear from you all. Thanks for reading everybody and thanks to everyone who said hi.
