I-130 APPROVED only after 21 DAYS!!!

Hello everyone.

I am a newbie here in VJ and need your help. I'm Mexican-American (U.S. Citizen) and my husband is EGYPTIAN. We married this July 2009 and decided to go the K3 route vs. the CR1 route because we read, that he can join me in the U.S.A. faster this way. To make our story short, I first mailed the I-130 and waited for the first NOA1 notice and then sent our I-129F packet. After only 21 days, our I-130 was APPROVED! "Alhamdilullah"! and now I am confused.

I read many threads where people say that even if you starte a K3 process and your I-130 gets approved before the I-129F, then the I-129 will be declined and rejected & that one should take the CR1 route...I don't understand why because I just assumed one only have to wait a bit longer for the I-129 case to be approved because it's all part of the K3 Visa process. So now, I figure the best thing for me to do is wait to hear when my I-130 packet will arrive at the NVC and maybe call them for their guidance on my situation.

Can someone clear up for me if the CR-1 Visa is only for those couples who have been married for 2+ years? Can anyone advice my husband and me on what is the fastest way for him to get approved?

Any American women, married to EGYPTIANS, who find themselves in my same situation??? Please HELP.
