confused about the 3 year period

hi, i m very confused... when exactly can i apply for a Naturalization?

it says:

Be a permanent resident (green card holder) for at least 3 years immediately preceding the date of filing Form N-400, Application for Naturalization.

i have 2 years conditional green card, and now i got my 10 year permanent .... so i have to have 3 years permanet green card, or it could be 3 years from first becoming a resident, even though it was conditional the first 2 years.

Look at your green card, then look for Resident since. Ok if you are still married to the same citizen who give you your green card you can apply 3 years after that day minus 90 days.

Example mine is: 03/06/06 I could apply 12/06/08. But because some monetary problems i have to wait until 09/01/09.

The 2 year green card counts towards your 3 years as a permanent resident, so add 3 years to the date you got your first green card - and subtract 90 days. That is the earliest you can apply for citizenship as long as you have also been married 3 years when you apply.

You became a Permanent Resident the day (or so) you got your first PR/Green Card - you didn't become a conditional permanent resident (or temporary permanent resident) - just one kind.
