Hi,

I'm pursuing CR1 at the same time K3 process is progressing. Does anyone know when will I need to decide to stop sending stuff to NVC to consider Adjustment of Status? Or can I choose to do Adjustment of Status once she comes here on K3 at anytime even though IV application is generated by NVC?

In other words, if we decide to do Adjustment of Status once she arrives here, could NVC comes and say that we can't because our process already close to end for the CR1?

Any insights would be appreciated.

Thanks.....

if you want to apply for AOS afer getting the K3, just send a letter to NVC to tell them that, and they should transfer it to the district office.

If you've already started the CR1 process tho, and have been sending things back and forth to NVC, I'm not sure you can AOS. I think you'd have to go back for the CR1. Which, IMO, it would be better to just skip the K3 interview and wait on the CR1.

You might want to call NVC if you can, to find out.
