Hello,

Our I-130 has been approved after only 2months from the NOA1!! In the approval notice it states that further info will be sent to the beneficiary. Is this the packet 3 &4 that I've seen people mention? Also approximately how long until I receive this? And lastly, is there anything I should be doing to prepare?? I've got my immunization record, police clearance already. Thanks!!

Now that you have received your NOA2 your case will be forwarded to NVC. Once they receive it (which hopefully will only take a week or so) you will be assigned a NVC case number. You can call NVC as often as you like to see if your number has been assigned, provide them with your email and follow the progress of your case. - (603) 334-0700 -

If all goes smoothly you may make it through NVC in a month; then there is a 3 - 4 month wait for an interview in Montreal. Unfortunately they are one of the slower consulates. :( On the plus side you didn't have to wait long for your NOA2 :)
