Do we neew to have a doc fiill out vacc supp?

Hey guys, we are in the process of preparing for our AOS interview. I am curious .. If when we filed AOS I sent in copy of vacc supp from Nigeria plus copies of his shot reciord from childhood with the application (the doc there ended up giving him 2 sets of unneeded vaccinations anyway because he wasnt aware that he was supposed to bring his shot record with him.. which I also sent proof of in the applications.) I never got an RFE but do you think that if I just bring in the originals of his shot record and the immunization receipts from Nigeria it will be ok or do I have to have a civil surgeon transfer everything over as I have read so many of you hezre say you have done?

Also how long does it take to get an appt with a civil surgeon

If you've read the AOS guides, it says that some people were able to submit their DS-3025 vaccination record from their home country and it was accepted by USCIS. Others have gotten RFE'd. I used this link to find a civil surgeon in my area:

The doctor transferred the vacc record from the DS-3025 to the I-693 supplement for only $10 dollars. Why take a chance???

yes..use the civil surgeon...it is a small cost compared to the problems that could arise if you don't use them....
