hi everybody,im quite new to this and im curently doing my paperwork for AOS based on marriage to US citizen

im going to file i -485 together with i -130 ,i-765

im in weird spot since im not sure how i supose to file i-864

situation is :

My wife is not working at the time ,and my mother in law is going to be my sponsor

do i file i-864 for both of them or how do i do it .

I would really appreciate it if someone can give me quick guide line about that

First of all, THEY file those forms. They prepare them and sign them for you to include with your AOS.

Wife: Must do an I-864, even if she has no income. She must include tax returns or reasons why she doesn't have any.

Mother in Law: Also does an I-864 and includes the proofs of income like tax returns, W2s, letter from employer, pay stubs, etc. AND mother must include photocopy proof of her status in the US. If she's US citizen, then birth certificate showing born in the USA or a US passport bio page. If she's naturalized citizen or green card holder, then photocopy of that evidence of legal residence.

If you and wife live in the same house as mother, then you can do a slightly different variation in the forms.
