Vancouver even though on their website says they use the DS-160, but they do not.

They only use the DS-156 and the DS-156K, not the 160.

Thanks!

For Question 26, how long do you intend to stay in the U.S.?

Can I put "indefinitely"?

For Question 27, What is the purpose of your trip?

Can I put to marry my fiance and live together?

For Question 36, Has anyone ever filed an immigrant visa on your behalf?

I would put "No" because the K1 is a non-immigrant visa right?

For all the blank spaces I have (fax number, pager number etc.), should I put N/A or leave it blank?

Because the 160 one is all online, the answers have to go with what they give you.

For 26, You have to put an actual date because it won't let you put in letters. I put in 80 years lol. For question 27 I put Other which then comes up with the option for Fiance or spouse of citizen (K). For 36 you answer no only if no one has ever petitioned for you before. Its not based on this petition, its based on if anyone else has applied for you. Even though the K is a non-immigrant, its with immigrant intent, so if someone petitioned for you I believe you would have to answer yes. For the 156, you can put perminantly and for marriage and relocation to the states

I just looked through my copy of the 160 and i couldnt find anything about working in the us, just what my present job is. Im not sure if thats showing up on it because of some of the options you filled out. On the 156 I put, with Work Authorization, employer unknown.

Would someone please verify whether the DS-160 is required at Vancouver for a K1 or not? I emailed the consulate with two questions. They answered the first and ignored the second, which was regarding whether or not the DS-160 was required.
