Requested for the rescheduling of INS interview

Hi,

I have a scheduled Interview with my wife and I for AOS.this October 28,2009.But unfortunately we have a prior schedule for that date.

So I called in the USCIS hotline and told them about my circumstances.We put in a request if its possible we could be interviewed

on any thursdays.

Do these requests usually are granted?How long is the delay for my next interview?

She should make an infopass appointment to request a rescheduled interview, If you only go through the 1-800 line you stand a high chance of getting a letter of denial for failing to appear for the interview. This has happened to others in the past. Make sure you take evidence of the Exam with you when you go for the infopass appointment.

Yesterday I received a letter from INS saying that they can only approve one reschedule interview only.Should I need to go to INFO pass

to still give the evidence for my wifes school exam?
