The only docs you 'need' to submit at the Embassy is the Medical report and Yes, you need or 'should' submit as much proof of your relationship as you can through the VFS office. Then any other proofs you have accumulated between the time of VFS and Interview should be taken to the Interview. You 'can' wait if you want and submit these at time of interview, but if you really want a better chance at the CO actually 'looking' at them, then submit them through VFS. The CO's are very busy during interviewing and less likely to have the time to actually review your proof as was our case when my SO had his first interview in '08'. This is why we are going to submit everything we have at the VFS this time around for sure, which was also very good and knowledgable advice given to me from another VJ'er here.
