This is spreading like wildfire on Facebook and a lot of my friends are enraged by it because of this Filipina's remark about the typhoon.

I can't even begin to fathom why she said such a thing. Did she really think that she could get away with it?

INSENSITIVE...

Translation: "It's a good thing I'm here in Dubai. Maybe there are so many sinners back there! (Philippines) They deserve what happened!"

Like this, it is a message board, and sooner, or later, the cockroaches come out of their hiding places. That is what the report button is for.

I would report her if I could but she's not my friend and it was her status message on FB. There's a group that's attempting to drive her out of the site though.

The typhoon was an unfortunate calamity and remarks like hers are uncalled for. She is being hounded by tons of people on all the social networking sites she's on and that's what she gets for opening her nasty mouth.

If you have relatives in the Philippines that need immediate help, here are the numbers to contact:

SEND FULL ADDRESS of those stranded to Sen. ####### Gordon 09178997898 or 0938444BOYS / Sen. Villar rescue text hotline: 09174226800, 09172414864, 09276751981 / Rubber boat requests 838-3203, 838-3354 / Rescue dumptrucks 0917-422-6800 or 0927-675-1981 /........................ Bagyong Ondoy 734-2118, 734-2120 / PAGASA 433-8526 / National Disaster Council 912-5668, 911-1406, 912-2665, 911-5061

LOL..I just saw it too, well, I guess that's her opinion and she has the right to express it. If you get affected by it, she wouldn't care at all.

That is my take on the topic and I have reported her. I have not been affected by the flood nor do I know anyone who is but it still grips me seeing tons of people homeless and in need of medical attention.

Her audacious comment just got to me.

The weather is bound to improve by tomorrow so fingers crossed!

RESPONSE MADE BY LANCELOTTE25:

"She just stated the fact why this thing is happening." ??? WHAT??? It is NOT A FACT, that this typhoon occurred because of the way the Philippina people are living their lives. Luvtechwifey, how dare you ASSUME what you have posted! You are not God, nor will you ever be God! I agree with quirky that to say such a statement, or imply that "they deserved it" is sick and twisted. I won't tell you to shut up or anything like that, but your ideas to me appear a bit distorted. Have you NO compassion or empathy for other people trying to exist in this world? I feel you have some inner hatred towards other people, or certain other people. Just to clarify that my last statement is not FACT, but only observation merely from your comments in regards to such a tragic event happening. You PROBABLY get a real enjoyment out of this terrible event happening! Shame ON YOU! Please learn not to judge other people. I just say to you, please hold your tongue and your personal beliefs when terrible issues happen to others. Don't be so fast to rush and say that things happened to others because they are not living their lives in God's eyes. You don't know the facts of how they live their lives, nor do I. I only say what I say hoping maybe you can learn from my post in regards to making such blantant comments. Only one will be the judge in the end, and his name is GOD! Bless You....

Quirky is obviously a troll...why else would s/he even think of butting his/her nose in a thread that has no relevance in his/her life? Hope the Moderators are watching.

For the sake of everybody's blood pressure, let's not feed the troll. :) Translation: Huwag nyo nang patulan ang kulang-kulang na si Quirky. (Don't fan the flames of Quirky's ignorance anymore.)

We know Luvtechwifey has made a good point...we've all suffered enough injustice at the hands of very corrupt, powerful people in high places. It's bad enough we have infrastructure built by the lowest bidder...I hope someday these ugly politicos will see what their greed has done to our country and the poor unfortunate folk who have to live with what they (the corrupt ones) have taken away.

Am kind of upset I may not be able to vote overseas since the deadline for absentee voters has already come and gone. Hope the ones who can vote go out there and exercise their rights...don't waste the chance!

My Lady has Interview tomorrow at USE. She will travel from Commonwealth By taxi . Just talked to her she say it will be ok cuz sunny now . Big day i sure Hope and pray she can get there on time . I know she will do great once at USE...

Good luck! Let us know the results and hopefully things are running smoothly at the Embassy, I read a CNN quote from Ambassador Lenney mentioned the embassy was flooded. Hope it's just a couple of inches of water.

I'm also hoping that the FILIPINO people wake up from this mess and realize they MUST discipline themselves to try and avoid this kind of mess in the future.

Is anyone 100% sure that U.S.E. closed today 28th? Need to know ASAP

My family is from Valenzuela City and I can't get a hold of them. I tried calling their Vonage number, PLDT Landline, and my sisters cellphones (Smart and Globe) but no luck :( Does anybody here from Valenzuela? I just wanna ask on whats the condition there.

This is a big disaster and I hope that everybody will help each other. I am praying for the safety of everyone and hoping that the PH Govt. will help those people who needs help.

I am from Valenzuela too, in Gen. T. de leon, I called my mother yesterday and she said everything was ok in that place.

That is good to know that your family is safe. BTW, my fam is from Dalandanan. I'll try to call them again few hours from now. Thanks for the info.

Good question...are there ANY good candidates to begin with?

It's way too early to tell...unless you believe in magic. :) No disrespect, but the last time the country voted based on charisma, we found our nation's leader under house arrest for plunder. :P

With that being said, I feel like this "magic" will abate in the months to come. I was just curious since I manage one of the Presidential candidates' website and pages. Always flooding in Carriedo everytime there's a big downpour. Much more if a storm causing the flood to rise.

Natural Disaster is indeed inevitable, the FACT that I am trying to say is that if the people knows how to dispose their respective GARBAGE, perhaps the flood wouldn't be that worst. One of the greatest examples is the Tulyahan Bridge along Gen. Mc. Arthur Hi-way, have you seen the volume of garbage being thrown in that river? So the FACT of not having the decipline is the reason why this thing happened, I am not talking about the TYPHOON,but the FLOOD.
