When I try and log onto the Visa Invoice Payment Center, I get the following message:

" Database Error, You have encountered the database error. Please try again later".

Anyone else having this problem????

case complete maybe?

One can only hope. That is the desired result from a failure. :)

No I haven't sent in my AOS and 230 packages yet... I wonder what else could be the problem??

No I haven't sent in my AOS and 230 packages yet... I wonder what else could be the problem??

In that case. I would give NVC a call, if you don't know already, their number is (603) 334-0700. They should be able to tell you what's going on with your case. I suggest you call in the morning too, less competition for a live operator. Good luck!

When y'all sent the photos with the 230, how did you present them? Did you write the names on the backs? Anything else? Did you put them in little baggies attached to sheets of paper, like we did the the G325a?

I am almost ready to send mine. Just a couple of items to fill in and copies to be made, then I am ready....

Just checked and login failure!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! :dance::dance::dance: wooooooo hoooooooooooooooooooooo so yes one case complete as of today!!!!

Mark, I wrote hubby's name and case # on the back of them. I put them in a sandwich bag. A used one that I had to find in the office, because I forgot to bring one. ha! They were crumby pictures! I just clipped them to the end of the whole package.

Our timeline:

2/88: We met in Sydney, Australia at a youth hostel! He's Finnish, I'm American-both were in our early 20s at the time and fresh out of college (so couldn't afford to visit each other's countries after that!). We had a three-day romance, then went our separate ways. He actually was going to Sydney a week later, but decided at the last minute to cut his trip short in another country and go early. Wow.

1988-1998: Wrote "snail mail" letters/sent Xmas cards, but lived our separate lives. I married someone else, divorced in 2006...he lived with someone for years and then that ended.

10/08: Because of a series of random life events, I Googled my Finn Man and found him (but no link to his email, and the website his name was on was in Estonian so I couldn't even read it!). It took me two weeks to find a link to someone else, who forwarded my email to him (we were both single at the time thankfully!!!!). The email went to his spam folder but he happened to check it that day and responded back to me immediately! This was after 10 years of no contact and almost 21 years of not seeing each other after we first met.

11/08-5/09: We traveled back and forth to visit each other. Love at first (second?) sight!

7/09: Married in Helsinki, Finland...after meeting randomly 21 1/2 years ago and finding each other again!!!!!

8/13/09: I-130 sent!!!!!!!!!

I just got the infamous checklist in my email. They're missing the 230 and the fee. Whatever! Okay they got it early this week. So...am I supposed to do anything at this point?

I got the fee email 3 times all ready. I just ignored it and there hasn't been any problems...

This wasn't the fee email. This was the actual checklist. I called NVC and the guy told me to send in the 230 asap. I told him I did that earlier this week and that fedex delivered it on Wed! They're just so mixed up! Anyway, the checklist gave me a list of what was missing, which was not stuff that was missing!

Our timeline:

Thank you ALL for the congrats. Was a long hard road getting through the USCIS 140 days and got a congressman involved as well. We had all the ducks in order for NVC and triple checked everything to prevent an RFE using the Ling Che and Jaime's shortcuts. We did pay the IV bill early which was not a problem to us although i see it has been for others, We got a false RFE on the DS230 as well but it worked out in a couple days after once it was entered into the system. Approx 11 days is what I was seeing from the date NVC acknowledged receipt of the DS230 per AVR until login failure. We were at 8 days so was actually expecting it on monday NOV 2. Wife is at grammar classes tonight so we will celebrate online tomorrow night. Will call monday AM and see if we have an interview date otherwise I guess we wait until they notify us when it is. Hang in there and be diligent make sure everything is in order and as requested. Yes it is confusing at times great folks here on VJ to help.
