With all the stuff I've been reading for the last few days on this forum, notice this morning that the IV bill was available, I didn't even think for a second before clicking on paid bill. JUST HOPE ALL GOES WELL FOR ME.

hey VJ people, my hubby called NVC jsut now to follow up my interview date and the NVC operator told him that November slot was already booked...

according to them, they will assign an interview for me maybe on december or january... :(:unsure:

hope they will make it december so that i can be with my hubby on christmas holidays... :blush:

wow january is too far...why no december? hope december is still available!

well i recieved 6 emails from nvc 2 yesturday and four during all day today for OLP IV FEE AGENT LETTER r there system messed up or r we making them go crazy

it's exactly how many we got after day after paying IV bill...4 emails are the same!

I got my email. I went to pay, submitted the ACH payment and the .Net app bombed. Grrrrrrr. Now, I will have to see where in the process it choked. Fricking useless.... Well, I have time, since I noticed my wife never sent photos, so there will be at least a week or so before I can do anything (more, because she won't go until the weekend I am sure... why, oh why, didn't you do what I said and get them while we were there.... water under the bridge, I guess.

I got that email twice. Once a day after I paid the invoice and again today. I think they are all sorts of messed up. :wacko:

Okay, payment went through on my stepson. I notice that the MakePayment.aspx page hands off to the Confirmation.aspx page, so I feel fairly confident that I wasn't paying twice (but I will watch the checking account just to be sure), so I submitted my wife's again and it went through. Now I wait again...

I got 3 so far :)...2 for the payment, one for the checklist...will call them once I clear the IV payment thingi...

Ok the emailing has really gotten crazy. I got the OLP IV FEE letter yesterday and 2 of them today....well they can send it to me as often they want too!!! It's paid!!! :wacko::blink::wacko:

Verne I am sure that it will finally catch up and be ok, you may just need to call the NVC and talk to an operator...Mine was available for 4 days without email and I ended up paying it anyways and then so far I have gotten MULTIPLE emails saying it was available to pay... :lol:

my i ask how much is it thru fed ex next day cuz i payed 18 so it would get ther by noon next day thru usps

I paid something like $23.00 for my AOS packet but $43.00 yesterday for the 230 packet-the darn photocopy added the weight! But then again, I'm shipping from the west coast.

Our timeline:

2/88: We met in Sydney, Australia at a youth hostel! He's Finnish, I'm American-both were in our early 20s at the time and fresh out of college (so couldn't afford to visit each other's countries after that!). We had a three-day romance, then went our separate ways. He actually was going to Sydney a week later, but decided at the last minute to cut his trip short in another country and go early. Wow.

1988-1998: Wrote "snail mail" letters/sent Xmas cards, but lived our separate lives. I married someone else, divorced in 2006...he lived with someone for years and then that ended.

10/08: Because of a series of random life events, I Googled my Finn Man and found him (but no link to his email, and the website his name was on was in Estonian so I couldn't even read it!). It took me two weeks to find a link to someone else, who forwarded my email to him (we were both single at the time thankfully!!!!). The email went to his spam folder but he happened to check it that day and responded back to me immediately! This was after 10 years of no contact and almost 21 years of not seeing each other after we first met.

11/08-5/09: We traveled back and forth to visit each other. Love at first (second?) sight!

7/09: Married in Helsinki, Finland...after meeting randomly 21 1/2 years ago and finding each other again!!!!!

8/13/09: I-130 sent!!!!!!!!!

So I coudnlt wait any longer for the email and paid my IV fee last night. They took the money overnight from my bank as it was gone around 9 am when I checked. Right at 3:10 I checked the status and it was PAID and I got the barcode sheet and mailed my packet before 3:30 so it will get there tomorrow morning :)...I hope everything goes alright now and we get the December interview...

Now, not even 20 minutes later when I checked again, its back to NOT PAID on the home page but in the receipts its still PAID and I can downlaod the barcode sheet, weired...ohh and guess what, I just got the email requesting payment...I think there is something which triggers the email once you pay it online <_<

This happend with you, because you paid before receiving IV emails. I think you will be ok, just call and talk to them. I am sure,once they received your docs, they scann the barcode sheet and fill fix the prob..

I paid ahead of time on Sat night, and it went to paid yesterday-and it never switched to Not Paid at all. Today I received three of the exact same emails from NVC! ha!

Yup...I just got one today too...two days after I paid.

The earlier poster was correct though -- when you click on the receipt page, it shows as being paid.

Hell, just consider this a "touch". :devil:
