hey VJ people, my hubby called NVC jsut now to follow up my interview date and the NVC operator told him that November slot was already booked...

according to them, they will assign an interview for me maybe on december or january...

hope they will make it december so that i can be with my hubby on christmas holidays...

Yay! My DS-230 package was received this morning! Here's my little fedex trick-don't pay for overnight priority overnight (next morning). Pay for standard overnight (next afternoon). All my fedexes have been delivered in the morning and I didn't have to pay the extra cost!

Or save even more money and send it with the USPS. It gets there just as quick. Or maybe that's only if you are lucky enough to be half an hour away from the Live Free or Die state!

So I coudnlt wait any longer for the email and paid my IV fee last night. They took the money overnight from my bank as it was gone around 9 am when I checked. Right at 3:10 I checked the status and it was PAID and I got the barcode sheet and mailed my packet before 3:30 so it will get there tomorrow morning ...I hope everything goes alright now and we get the December interview...

Now, not even 20 minutes later when I checked again, its back to NOT PAID on the home page but in the receipts its still PAID and I can downlaod the barcode sheet, weired...ohh and guess what, I just got the email requesting payment...I think there is something which triggers the email once you pay it online

Me too! I sent in my 230 package yesterday early am, and today I got another email requesting payment! What you want me to pay twice? Yeah, don't think so!

^ I know...they should look into upgrading this system soon...more work for them...

well i recieved 6 emails from nvc 2 yesturday and four during all day today for OLP IV FEE AGENT LETTER r there system messed up or r we making them go crazy

i received the instruction package email today. not sure what it means, but i got it from what i am reading on previous forms, i think we do nothing with it since we have already sent the ds230 and it is already entered into the system. still crossing fingers for no rfe come on case complete

This happend with you, because you paid before receiving IV emails. I think you will be ok, just call and talk to them. I am sure,once they received your docs, they scann the barcode sheet and fill fix the prob..

Hey, stranger! yeah, from best i can tell, it is just another fancy way to ask for the ds230 package. it is on our timelines, but i don't think i need to do anything with it. i received the checklist request for the ds230 a little more than a week ago.
