hey guys. how is everyone?

i got an email from NVC confirming receipt of my DS3032 (the email i sent them) so there's not need for my hubby to mail them the hard copy this weekend. yay!

ok hurrah-ing done...what exactly should we do next? :unsure:

my hubby still haven't completed his AOS package and i am not done gathering all my docs for my IV package.. this is where we are gonna be delayed *sigh*

Hi. We have not received an email but when I called NVC about an hour ago a lady confirmed the receipt of my DS-3032. I think we are right about the same timeline other than we have already submitted my husband's AOS package and they have confirmed that they have received it. I've got everything for my IV package ready and all we need right now is the IV bill to be invoiced so we could pay for it.

So near yet so far....

i am lacking an NSO certified birth certificate. i went to NSO laguna to pay for 2 BCs but apparently NSO doesn't have a record of me. QC civil registry still has my BC. my brother and i used to go there to get our NSO certified BCs. but he got his 2 years ago from NSO muntinlupa. i was stupid to think and take a chance that they have forwarded mine to NSO main too. now i gotta go there and wait again. QC is sooo far

Hello everyone, NVC accepted my ds-3032 today as I noticed the IV bill was generated, I called the AVR also confirmed it so now I have paid the IV bill just now, and my big wait begins, it sucks as my husband was to get done Sept.1 that would of been great timing here for us but now it will be Feb. so I have done all I can do for a while. As we need a few docs from his to send in our 230. So I will be making at least one more visit before then, I will also attend the interview especially as I see how Egypts AP stuff has been going.

I wish the best to those of you with up comming interviews. Also thanks for the all the help I have recieved here it means a lot.

An original Birth certificate and a photocopy.

Original Marriage Certificate and Photocopy.

2 PCC (1 from local police station and one from RPO)

The DS 230 form.

2 passport size pictures.

Passport photocopy.

I have everything in possession except the PCC from the RPO.

Am I missing anything?

This is for the DS-230 which you are only missing the IV payment coversheet.

You should also get your I-864 package ready because this can be sent as soon as the NVC sends you an email after they have received your DS-3032.

The husband is still on dreamland so i'll have to wait a few more hours but i am also thinking of waiting for the email from NVC before actually paying for the bill. I know it's fine to pay for it even without the email but since I have been reading a few people encountering problems when they paid for it even without the email, Im now more inclined to wait. what do you guys think?

That's great Abbie! I guess I have to wait at least one more week...check the DOS site and see when your next fee gets invoiced. You paid the AOS fee right? I've seen some people post on VJ that suggest not to pay the IV fee ($400 or whatever it is) until you get the email (it's usually a day later?) so that bit confuses me. Get those docs together so you can send them ASAP!!!

We emailed the 3032 and fedexed it. Now I'm thinking I wasted $20 on that!

I sent the 3032 via certified mail usps and it took less than 24 hours but I am in MA and it was only going to NH. It is so frustrating to know the NVC is like a half an hour drive from here. I could drop everything off in person. Maybe with some baked goodies. lol

I'm mailing my AOS package today and we are just waiting for David's passport size photos. he ordered online and there is a postal strike in UK which could not come at a worse time!

Has anyone else noticed no one at NVC ever responds to email even though it is marked as thier preferred method of communication?

wow i just called they avr and that thing had my heart stopped it said there was a something missing in my affadavitt and they mailed me what it was ,i talked to operater and she said my review was complete i did it all right but just missing my husband ds3230 wow relief in a way but so frustrated with them not reciving my husbands email on the ds3230 im thinking tomorrow gonna mail the hard copy althought she said if i just emailed it i would be fine ,but its not true i think they see faster the hard copy

Oh Abbie, don't worry. I've been in NVC limbo since August due to the same reason...procrastination. We're hoping to get a case complete by the middle of November. HOPEFULLY.

This is for the DS-230 which you are only missing the IV payment coversheet.

You should also get your I-864 package ready because this can be sent as soon as the NVC sends you an email after they have received your DS-3032.

Acceptance of the 3032 is not required for sending the 864 AOS package.... Just payment and acceptance of the AOS fee is required to send the 864... They are different streets...

I posted this in another post.... might be of use in keeping things straight!

For anyone confused the formula is this

Petitioner = Get NVC # + receive AOS fee bill + pay 70$ online + wait to show paid + print cover sheet + send 854 AOS with all documents and case # written on each page

Benificerary = Get NVC# + receive 3032 + send 3032+ 3032 accepted + IV fee bill available to be paid + pay and wait to show paid + print IV cover sheet + mail 230 package with all original/certified documents

======= wait for case complete + wait for interview to be scheduled
