Congrats Bern! Good job Mark! Just don't beat me...hehee

I'm so excited-I just zoomed off to the fedex place to pick up my hubby's stuff he sent me! Now I have everything for the 230 package!!! And not only that, but I got my new passport in the mail today and my old one! Yay!

David's girl-how's the housing market in Scotland??

I got an email about my passport but they are still processing. I'll be excited to see my new name!

The housing market seems to be about the same as here but he lives in a nice area, has a conservatory, nice big kitchen with cool stove and a jetted tub so I think it should go for reasonable proice. The downside is the yard is often a bit wet and squishy and there are some minor maintenance issues (mostly exterior paint). I just dont want him over there for months once we have the visa!

I am still waiting for NVC to take my money so I can print cover sheet and submit my AOS stuff. Pokey sloooooow!

I was very excited to see my new name in the passport! The Scot's house sounds cool! I'm glad I don't have to sell my house here-it's depreciated so much in this U.S. market. I hope his house sells fast! Hope your aos payment goes thru this week. I'm waiting for the 3032 to be accepted, but of course it's been less than two weeks still...I just hate holding patterns!

Our timeline:

2/88: We met in Sydney, Australia at a youth hostel! He's Finnish, I'm American-both were in our early 20s at the time and fresh out of college (so couldn't afford to visit each other's countries after that!). We had a three-day romance, then went our separate ways. He actually was going to Sydney a week later, but decided at the last minute to cut his trip short in another country and go early. Wow.

1988-1998: Wrote "snail mail" letters/sent Xmas cards, but lived our separate lives. I married someone else, divorced in 2006...he lived with someone for years and then that ended.

10/08: Because of a series of random life events, I Googled my Finn Man and found him (but no link to his email, and the website his name was on was in Estonian so I couldn't even read it!). It took me two weeks to find a link to someone else, who forwarded my email to him (we were both single at the time thankfully!!!!). The email went to his spam folder but he happened to check it that day and responded back to me immediately! This was after 10 years of no contact and almost 21 years of not seeing each other after we first met.

11/08-5/09: We traveled back and forth to visit each other. Love at first (second?) sight!

7/09: Married in Helsinki, Finland...after meeting randomly 21 1/2 years ago and finding each other again!!!!!

8/13/09: I-130 sent!!!!!!!!!

Rest is on my timeline!

Hi Christeen! Is your hubby's medical appt. the same day or the day before his interview? I was just wondering how Naples did it, since that's where we'll be going also. Thanks!

I think you are fine Randy!!! It'll update itself, specially if the money was deducted from your account. Mine went from IN PROCESS to REJECTED...and they never withdrew the money out of my account!! So that is when I repaid it and it went from IN PROCESS to PAID! But gosh, how long does it take for the ds-3032 to get input so I can pay the IV BILL??

Also, is the price $400 to include the security fee or just $355???:wacko::wacko:

Does the AVR ever tell you that the 3032 and 864 have been received and are being reviewed? Unfortunately I left my fedex slip for the 864 from home so can't check it at work! I also fedexed the 3032 a few days after my hubby emailed the template. I can't find that darn fedex slip anywhere! But does it just go from nothing on the AVR to accepted? I'm sure I've seen this answer on VJ but there's too much to retain in my head!
