Weren't a couple of people here talking about how you had to wait for the email to pay the IV bill? I remember some issue but can't remember the details! This makes my head spin...

Our timeline:

2/88: We met in Sydney, Australia at a youth hostel! He's Finnish, I'm American-both were in our early 20s at the time and fresh out of college (so couldn't afford to visit each other's countries after that!). We had a three-day romance, then went our separate ways. He actually was going to Sydney a week later, but decided at the last minute to cut his trip short in another country and go early. Wow.

1988-1998: Wrote "snail mail" letters/sent Xmas cards, but lived our separate lives. I married someone else, divorced in 2006...he lived with someone for years and then that ended.

10/08: Because of a series of random life events, I Googled my Finn Man and found him (but no link to his email, and the website his name was on was in Estonian so I couldn't even read it!). It took me two weeks to find a link to someone else, who forwarded my email to him (we were both single at the time thankfully!!!!). The email went to his spam folder but he happened to check it that day and responded back to me immediately! This was after 10 years of no contact and almost 21 years of not seeing each other after we first met.

11/08-5/09: We traveled back and forth to visit each other. Love at first (second?) sight!

7/09: Married in Helsinki, Finland...after meeting randomly 21 1/2 years ago and finding each other again!!!!!

8/13/09: I-130 sent!!!!!!!!!

Rest is on my timeline!

A few people got hung u when they paid the bill the evening it showed up (as it usually shows up after 10PM and the next day you get the NVC e-mail..) The billing seems to be about 12 hours ahead of the official bill generation (since it is 3rd party)... But for most, since it takes 3 days to clear, they are fine paying it that night, but if you wait till the actual e-mail shows up saying to pay, then you are really good to go!

Yeah we were talking about it acouple of pages ago! From what I understood about it, was that the website will show that you can pay the IV bill but you should wait until you get the email or check AVR or something like that....:blink::wacko:

Quick question. My hubby has sent his DS3032 via email. I have an original signed by him here and was planning to mail it. Is it ok for the cover sheet to come from me as long as he signed the form? He signed one from internet and I pasted the barcode on it, scanned it to him and he emailed it. I am guessing the NVC will want the original though. I paid AOS Sat and it stil shows pended. Hopefully it will go tomorrow.

I'm right there with ya. David keeps saying how it seems so straight forward! It's noce to know that one of us might be ale to manage the taxes once he is living here. if he finds this simple tax code should be a breeze. :reading: I still feel a little confused!

i did not use a coversheet on the ds3032. david's girl, what you could do is have him sign the one with the barcode generated on there in blue ink or something, scan it in, and email it back to you. that is what we did, and it still looked like the original

2 weeks since NVC received our e-mail addresses, we finally got e-mails from the NVC. We both got the same e-mail. The one with the Choice of Agent form. Is this right? Aren't I supposed to receive a different e-mail than my wife?

Ok, I got another e-mail about the AOS fee. You guys suggest that I pay it tomorrow, right?

And yeah, the 17 day approval at USCIS surprised us.

If you got the e-mail go ahead and pay it!!!

What are you waiting for? Whip out your checkbook and get busy entering the information on line....

Mark :)

Yeah, just make sure you put in the right numbers....I was dyslexic and transposed my numbers and had to wait for 3+ days to repay it!!!!
