Good to see everyone moving along in here, still waiting here but doing great. It will be sad for me to have to join another thread as we can't mail the 230 off for a few months but nothing but the best of wishes to you all and quick interview times for you also. We just got the DS3032 and request for AOS payment in mail. I paid AOS online but it is still showing as pending. Maybe because it is a Saturday? The automated system sent me a response stating primary applicant not found but on the attachment his name is listed. I am confused. it says to check back in 3 days. The IV bill was showing but says it isnt requested yet.

I have the Support packet ready to go and need to affix bar code to the DS3032 form he signed while here last week.

Am I missing anything? Just tryin to get my ducks in a row!:dance:

Hi everyone! Back from a day roadtrip to Yellowstone! Whew. David's Girl-how does the automated system send you a response? And Dhel, send in the tax transcripts that you got from the IRS.

Edited by FinnLove

Our timeline:

2/88: We met in Sydney, Australia at a youth hostel! He's Finnish, I'm American-both were in our early 20s at the time and fresh out of college (so couldn't afford to visit each other's countries after that!). We had a three-day romance, then went our separate ways. He actually was going to Sydney a week later, but decided at the last minute to cut his trip short in another country and go early. Wow.

1988-1998: Wrote "snail mail" letters/sent Xmas cards, but lived our separate lives. I married someone else, divorced in 2006...he lived with someone for years and then that ended.

10/08: Because of a series of random life events, I Googled my Finn Man and found him (but no link to his email, and the website his name was on was in Estonian so I couldn't even read it!). It took me two weeks to find a link to someone else, who forwarded my email to him (we were both single at the time thankfully!!!!). The email went to his spam folder but he happened to check it that day and responded back to me immediately! This was after 10 years of no contact and almost 21 years of not seeing each other after we first met.

11/08-5/09: We traveled back and forth to visit each other. Love at first (second?) sight!

7/09: Married in Helsinki, Finland...after meeting randomly 21 1/2 years ago and finding each other again!!!!!

8/13/09: I-130 sent!!!!!!!!!

Rest is on my timeline!

It asked if I wanted email copy of my reciept and let me put in both me and David's email addresses. This is the computer automated not telephone. The letter directed me to a webpage and it was an option after I entered bank info.

I am making a copy of the tax transcripts for myself and my daughter's FAFSA and sending in the originals.

How was Yellowstone? I've never been there. Did you get to see Old faithful?

Yes, we got very lucky! Got there and it went off two minutes later. Lucky some tourist told us it was ready to blow so we had to run. It goes off every 91 minutes or so, give or take 10!

It is so wierd. I'm not sure I would wait an hour and a half to see it though!

You may have guessed by now that patience is a virtue I do not posess!

It seems strange to be here and not see Ms Sheke. Hope she is ok. I'm on b/p meds too and have been told to lose weight and avoid stress. yeah right!!!! No way to avoid it during this process is there? It sure helps being able to share it with other folks in the same boat.

Hello all,

I have a question: I don't plan to take my husband's last name so I am retaining my maiden name. I also didn't apply for addition of spouse's name to the biographic page of my passport (Indian passports have father, mother, spouse's name) since I wasn't sure how long they would take to issue a new passport and I wanted to get started on the paperwork ASAP. And I didn't really want to get a new one right now since mine is valid till 2017.

Is this going to be a problem anywhere?

Any thoughts? Thanks!

I did the same thing on Friday, but I didn't check to see if they tried to deliver it on Saturday. I specifically told them that they were closed on weekends. I would think the usps in Portsmouth would know this, considering they probably do alot of deliveries to the NVC.....

Let me know what they say on Monday.
