Good Afternoon everyone.

I just got back from spending a great 9 days with my wife. It just gets better every time. I endured 2 bad flights and 4 hours of boredom in heathrow between flights. I was tired and grumpy and unhappy and missing Diane. I decided to call the NVC for about the 5th time this week and couldn't believe it when they had a case number! That's cheered me up a bit. Now I've got about 10 hours of coronation street and eastenders to get through to try and take my mind off things. One more step up the ladder for us!:dance::dance::dance::dance::dance:

Dhel-today is the 3rd business day for me too-I just checked and it's PAID! A couple of hours ago it didn't show that.

Our timeline:

2/88: We met in Sydney, Australia at a youth hostel! He's Finnish, I'm American-both were in our early 20s at the time and fresh out of college (so couldn't afford to visit each other's countries after that!). We had a three-day romance, then went our separate ways. He actually was going to Sydney a week later, but decided at the last minute to cut his trip short in another country and go early. Wow.

1988-1998: Wrote "snail mail" letters/sent Xmas cards, but lived our separate lives. I married someone else, divorced in 2006...he lived with someone for years and then that ended.

10/08: Because of a series of random life events, I Googled my Finn Man and found him (but no link to his email, and the website his name was on was in Estonian so I couldn't even read it!). It took me two weeks to find a link to someone else, who forwarded my email to him (we were both single at the time thankfully!!!!). The email went to his spam folder but he happened to check it that day and responded back to me immediately! This was after 10 years of no contact and almost 21 years of not seeing each other after we first met.

11/08-5/09: We traveled back and forth to visit each other. Love at first (second?) sight!

7/09: Married in Helsinki, Finland...after meeting randomly 21 1/2 years ago and finding each other again!!!!!

8/13/09: I-130 sent!!!!!!!!!

Rest is on my timeline!

And sam .... That was magic my friend .. Magic , where u screw urself up ... hahahaha ....

Anyways , once i sent my AOS and ds-3032 , in 2 days it started showing i could pay it , but i had not recieved the e mail .. Lol , i paid it 2 days back and recieved the e mail yesterday . Too late , i had already screwed myself by that time ..

I did the same thing, I paid my IV bill before I recieve my bill from them. I logged into the online system and saw the IV bill was there to be paid. But luckily for me I recieved my IV bill the next day even though I had already paid it. I had a little problem though as it was showing up as unpaid for 3 days then it said paid on the 4th dayI checked.

Hope all goes well for you guys.

AAHHHH!! Now see I would have done the same thing!!! If I would have seen it was available to me on the website I would have paid it too!!!! You would think they would get the email out BEFORE it is available online HHHMMMMMM...

Now I know to wait for EMAIL saying I can pay it....Thanks for letting us know about that...I would have been screwed too..

But hey, it still says that the AOS was paid on the 8th of October when I call the AVR but it shows rejected online still. I repaid it on the 10th when I saw it online...

Help! I'm stuck. I'm trying to do my 864EZ form...however, I can't type on the stupid thing. Am I goofing up somehow? They don't email it to me, do they? I need to send all this ####### out today! Can someone help me? I even broke down and asked the computer guy at work (so now it's obvious what I'm really doing in the office! ha) and he can't convert it to a pdf file. I'm so computer illiterate. I just don't want to have to write it out. Thanks! (oh, and I'm using the form that's on the DOS website)

If you cannot type on the sheet, your only option will be to print it out and write in all the information. Or, you could redownload Adobe and see if it will work then. :P

Thanks! Not sure if we have Adobe at work. I'm trying to be sneaky but not succeeding...and I want to get it out today because I'm going out of town! My handwriting is horrible...anyone else know how to type on this stupid thing?

I suggested Adobe because that is what reads the forms perfectly. It doesn't matter which browser you are using.

thanks!!
